Acupuncture is a form of healing that corrects imbalances of energy in different meridians or pathways on the body. In certain parts of the body congestion can occur making it hard for the flow of energy to move properly through the body. This creates the pain or imbalances. By inserting needles in specific points on the body we are able to release the stagnation and start to promote the healing process. Acupuncture can be used for a wide variety of conditions, from emotional disorders to digestive complaints. Rehabilitation due to sports injury, trauma or pre and post surgical procedures. Acupuncture can also help with addictions. I use a variety of Traditional base Chinese acupuncture (TCM), and Japanese acupuncture, Trigger points release (finding tender spots), and Auricular acupuncture. These different approaches will be tailored for specific conditions. The treatment you receive will always include another form of modality. This can include moxa, cupping, or ear acupuncture.

This treatment is specifically directed to treat and resolve conditions that have been diagnosed by a physician. I can use a variety of modalities and or procedures during the treatment. This treatment focuses on Trigger Points within the affected muscles. When the muscle groups are released this leads to better range of motion and healing can occur.

Swedish Massage
This is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, effleurage, and percussion to help the body improve its muscle tone, and circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved skin’s appearance, and greater flexibility.

Applied Kinesiology is a noninvasive technique that restores the body and meridians back to homeostasis. This technique is nested within Chinese medicine. Certain triggers, such as food, environment, hormones, vitamin and mineral deficiencies, chemicals, GI issues, and emotions can send a cascading effect on the central nervous system. Kinesiology balances the central nervous system along with the meridians to bring back wellness. This is a noninvasive, drug free, natural choice for relief. This is not covered by insurance.
